EdTech Karaoke, also known as ETK, is a free karaoke party held in close proximity to education conferences. It is organized by Symbaloo, the educator homepage, and sponsored by some of the best edtech companies around! This educator-focused party brings conference attendees together to continue networking outside of the convention center.
How can I go to ETK?
All guests must pre-register for ETK online before the party. Once you have pre-registered you must pick up your VIP badge at the designated booth during the conference. You can pick up VIP badges for others but please let them know you have already picked up their badge.
How much does it cost?
The party is free but online pre-registration through Eventbrite is required. Each conference has a separate page for pre-registration.
What if I don’t sing?
The karaoke party is not just for singers! Our sponsors provide a variety of fun activities at ETK. Previously we have had a photobooth, food trucks, an armadillo, and more!
How big is the party?
Some ETK parties are intimate and consist of one stage with karaoke open to all attendees, while other ETK parties are larger consisting of two stages. Some parties also host the ETK Voice of the Year Contest with epic prizes!
Where is ETK?
Each ETK is held at a different venue. You can find the venue for ETK on this website by looking on each conferences page.
How long is the party?
The party is typically held from 7pm until around 11pm, but this is subject to change. Please follow us on social media for any immediate changes to the party you plan on attending. Your VIP badge allows you entry and re-entry at any time during the night.
What should I bring with me?
Each ETK is different but we recommend bringing money for food and drinks. You will also want to bring your phone to take pictures and post about the party on social media!
Can I bring kids with me?
Most parties are held at bars or 21+ venues. Please contact us with specific party questions.
